Passageways LLC said more than 100 attendees from about 50 financial institutions attended the intranet portal provider's fifth annual users conference at an Indianapolis hotel.
Keynote speakers were Ron Nice, Rich Scholes and Daniel Nice from strategic planning firm Nice Enterprises. Their topic was market trends and the changing technological landscape.
Other sessions were presented by Gail Koehler and Samantha Merritt of Purdue Employees Federal Credit Union, which launched Passageways as a CUSO in 2003.
The conference also included client awards, including three to bank clients and one for best new module for consulting to the PEFCU. Other credit union entries recognized were from American Airlines CU, Beacon CU, Northrop Grumman FCU, Alliant CU, Bellco CU, CU*Answers and Eli Lilly FCU, the company said.
The conference also saw the launch of Passageways' new portal certification program, developed to test and certify portal administrators and workgroup managers. More than 30 certifications were awarded and more courses are planned.
The conference also included presentations by co-founders Christopher Beltran and Paroon Chadha on upcoming products including the Portal Guru.
