Carolina Postal CU Unveils Umbrella Woman Logo

Carolina Postal Credit Union gave the credit union umbrella man a makeover in honor of the credit union's 75th anniversary.
The 1934 cartoon credit union umbrella man was replaced with an image of a young woman holding an umbrella next to Carolina Postal's anniversary slogan "We've Got You Covered."
"The original credit union principles still apply in this day and age," said CEO Joy Watts. "Credit unions are still true to their core philosophy and still protect our members from financial distress, sickness and hard times, but we thought it was time for a modern, fresh look that is a bit more representative of our members today."
The credit union kicked off their 75th anniversary celebration at their annual meeting by unveiling the new look. They also handed out door prizes, held a luncheon and handed out a CPCU umbrella to over 200 members and guests that attended the meeting.
