Web Services Firm Hits 10,000 Mark in Auto Updates

The automated request tracking system at WESCO Net Web Services has just recorded its 10,000th Web site update request, the company said.
The service was launched three years ago, when the offshoot of CU*Answers in Grand Rapids, Mich., was hosting 40 credit union sites. WESCO Net said it now hosts more than 120 sites representing more than 250 domain names.
Its services also now include the video training site OnDemand.cuanswers.com, network retail site cuasterisk.com and Web applications that support online indirect loan origination and payday lending solutions.
"In the last three years, we've doubled our staff and greatly increased our capabilities and talent base. We've also recently expanded our hosting capacity for both Web and e-mail hosting with the addition of a new server in preparation for projects that are lined up for the 2009 year," said David Damstra, manager of Web
services at WESCO Net, which was
formed in 2002.
A new server has been added at WESCO Net Web to help the company handle increasing demand for its hosting services. The server expands the SAS 70-certified center's capacity for hosting Web and e-mail service for existing and anticipated new clients and projects, the company said.
