CUNA Is Sponsoring Webinars on How CUs Can Help Struggling Members

Credit unions can learn tips on how to help members manage finances in this economy through Webinars being held by CUNA.
The "Best Practices for Implementing a Financial Counseling Program" Webinar was held recently. It aimed to teach credit unions how to set up a program for teaching members how to manage their finances. Three financial counselors who have all helped implement successful financial counseling programs spoke during the Webinar.
On April 16, CUNA will host a "Foreclosure Prevention: How Can you Help Your Members?" Webinar. The Webinar will teach attendees how to evaluate a member's ability to work out a solution to their financial troubles. The Webinar will also point out retention and liquidation options and resources for foreclosure prevention.
CUNA has over 30 Webinars scheduled for the second quarter of 2009 and archived versions of recently held Webinars are also available at training.cuna.org.
