Credit Union Times Asks 'What Comes Next?'

When the bombshell dropped that the NCUA had taken U.S. Central and WesCorp into conservatorship the industry responded with reactions, outcry and concern over what will come next.
Many have speculated on the impact the conservatorship will have on the industry as a whole and what fall out is to come.
In our current voting poll Credit Union Times is asking you what your credit union is looking to do next.

Readers Say No to Rewriting Mortgages' with Cram-Downs

The bill to let judges rewrite mortgages awaits Senate action, where it is expected to face opposition. Credit Union Times found that the majority of readers second that opposition.
The results of the latest online voting poll showed that 75% of readers do not support allowing bankruptcy judges to rewrite the terms of mortgages.
Seventeen percent of readers support the bill and 6% of readers said they weren't sure whether or not they support it.
