Makeovers for Small Business

Power Financial Credit Union wants to help make over a small business with help from office product retailer Staples.
The Small Business Makeover Challenge is open to businesses with less than 250 employees located in Broward, Miami-Dade and Palm Beach counties. The contest entry form is available at www.powerfi.org. Entries were accepted through March 23.
The winning business owner will receive private financial consultations provided by Power Investments, marketing consultation with Power Financial's marketing department, a public relations audit from brainstorm2go Inc., financial literacy employee seminars and a $1,000 Staples gift card courtesy of Staples and the Pembroke Pines, Fla.-based credit union.
"We're creating this Small Business Makeover Challenge as a vehicle to not only promote our wide array of financial products and services to businesses, but also to give one local business the chance to receive complimentary professional services to jumpstart their 2009 business plans," said Power Financial President/CEO Allan Prindle.
