Kinecta Member Wins Photo Contest

A picture has been worth $1,100 for Kinecta Federal Credit Union member Rebecca Lin. The 16 year-old has been named the first grand-prize winner in the themed photo contest offered by CUNA's three-in-one online youth periodical Googolplex.
The high school level of Googolplex, C-Note, recently wrapped up its first themed photo contest. Readers were able to enter and vote in the contest. Lin's entry, "A Walk in the Park-and Rain," submitted for the competition's theme of "things I like to do for free," drew the most reader votes and won $100. In the grand-prize round, Lin's photo again attracted the most votes, and won an additional $1,000. The contest provided an opportunity to encourage younger members to become more involved with Kinecta FCU, the CU said.
