Partners Federal Credit Union helped members' dreams come true at its winter SALSA car sale held in the Walt Disney World Resort Epcot Wonder parking lot.
The sale provided members and Walt Disney World Resort cast members the opportunity to purchase a car and finance it through the credit union. Partners worked with Auto Advisors and Auto Nation Direct to simplify the buying process by offering the option to select weekly payments and auto payments.
"By purchasing a car at the winter SALSA car sale and financing it through Partners, the average buyer saved nearly $4,000 on their total vehicle cost," said Jim Kasch, Partners vice president, business development & strategic alliances. "That means a lot to many people, especially in these challenging economic times."
Additionally, the credit union donated the value of two trade-in vehicles to the Walt Disney World Resort and Marine Corps' Toys for Tots program.
"The overwhelming success of the winter SALSA car sale allowed the dealerships, Auto Advisors and Partners the opportunity to donate $10,000 worth of merchandise to Toys for Tots. What a perfect topper for a wonderful event," said Suzette Noble, general manager, Disney's Animal Kingdom and liquidation merchandise operations.
Auto Advisors President Bill Goldberg said that they received dozens of compliments from cast members on the car buying experience at the sale. Overall the sale brought together, seven dealerships and engaged more than 100 people.
