Local Government FCU Names New Council Members

Local Government Federal Credit Union announced 11 new advisory council members to eight of its 22 councils across the state.
The council members are volunteer based and serve as liaisons between members, nonmembers and Local Government management.
The Central Mountain appointees were Renee Grindstaff, Sheila Grindstaff, and Steven Smith. Melody Moxley was appointed in the Central Piedmont district. James Peele III was appointed in the Eastern Carolina district. The Foothills appointees were David Dear and Betty Stinson. Gary Britt was appointed in the Northern Coast. John McClelland was appointed in South Piedmont. David Boykin was appointed in the Southern Mountain district and Martha Hancock was appointed in West Piedmont.
Stephen Langdon was also added to the credit unions' Youth Advisory Council, Our Generation--Speakin' Up. The council is made up of North Carolina middle and high school students and now has 10 members to assist the credit union in the development of a new generation of products and services for children, teens and young adults.
