CU Business Group Expands

PORTLAND, Ore. -- CU Business Group LLC has formed its first credit union partnership in Michigan, extending the CUSO's reach to 35 states across the country.
The milestone marks one of several in 2008 for the business services CUSO, which added 34 new credit unions to its 285-client list this year, according to CUBG. Since the start of the year the CUSO's team of underwriters have reviewed $450 million in business loans, nearly $190 million over last year's total, CUBG said.
"I'm thrilled with the incredible growth CU Business Group has seen this year, both in membership and volume," said CUBG President/CEO Larry Middleman. "We're very excited about the future and we hope to maintain this forward momentum as we continue to provide quality advice and services to all our credit union members."
CUBG is owned by eight corporate credit unions.
