Southwest Corporate Announces Economic Forum Speakers, Opens Registration

PLANO, Texas -- Southwest Corporate Federal Credit Union has finalized an impressive line-up of speakers and officially opened the registration process for its 2008 Economic Forum, set for Oct. 28 and 29 at the Westin Galleria Hotel in Dallas.

Kicking off the two-day event is economic consultant Jeff Thredgold, a former senior vice president and chief economist for banking giant KeyCorp, who will provide predictions for the U.S. economy under new presidential leadership. Economist and Canadian broadcaster Linda Nazareth will offer a global view of factors affecting the economy, with particular emphasis on emerging demographic and social trends.

Other presenters include credit union technology consultant Tim Lerew, energy expert Dr. Loren Scott, CUNA economists Bill Hampel and Dr. Charles Idol, author Joe Pine and economist Chris Low.
