Neighbors FCU Goes All Out for Employee Appreciation

BATON ROUGE, La. -- Neighbors Federal Credit Union is serious about making its staffers feel appreciated.

It took a full week to show employees they care with tokens of appreciation, food, an Employee Family Night, giveaways and constant praise from management.

The week commenced with a tribute to staff from President/CEO Kathi M. Gill, followed by chocolate treats and restaurant gift card drawings. The week continued with an Employee Appreciation Family Night at Celebration Station in Baton Rouge, where the facility was reserved for staff and their families to enjoy food, games and prizes. In addition, members of the senior management team served breakfast the following morning to each of their 160 employees, and then hand scooped ice-cream sundaes for them on Thursday. There were even more giveaways, including a hammock, a stainless gas grill and gas cards.

The senior management team even allowed employees to soak them with water balloons to raise funds for Habitat for Humanity. The week-long celebration concluded with another thank you message from the CEO, and the surprise drawing for a 42" HDTV for one lucky employee.

"It is so important to us as a family-centric business to constantly show gratitude to our team for the amazing work they do and the excellent service they provide to our member-owners," said Gill. "It was such a great week and we took such great joy from pampering our team."

Clearview Sets New Award

MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- Clearview Federal Credit Union will be offering a new community service award this year.

The Joseph C. Cirelli Community Service Award will honor an individual who provides out-
standing volunteer service to their community.

Clearview will make a $2,500 donation to a charity of the winner's choice, in recognition of their efforts.

The award is named in honor of Joseph C. Cirelli, former president / CEO of Clearview FCU, who served the credit union for 35 years and has been a big supporter of volunteer efforts.

The winner of the award need not be a member of Clearview but must be nominated by a member. Clearview members are also encouraged to nominate themselves to raise funds for their charity.
