CU Donates

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. -- The $1.2 billion Pacific Service Credit Union has donated money to support a innovative child care program in San Francisco.

Pacific Service Credit Union donated funds to the Embrace-a-Child program at San Francisco's Holy Family Day Home. Holy Family Day Home provides child care for working poor and homeless families in San Francisco County.

"We are proud to support Holy Family Day Home," said Steve Punch, president of Pacific Service CU. "Their organization works to help families transition from disadvantaged situations to sustained independent living. Our donation will provide children access to educational activities throughout the summer."

The CU did not reveal how much support it provided.

For more than 100 years, Holy Family Day Home has served the needs of at-risk children with affordable, high quality, early educational child care for children ages three months through six years.
