Bethpage FCU Holds Annual Air Show

BETHPAGE, N.Y. -- Bethpage Federal Credit Union drew a record breaking number of 503,000 people to its 2008 Memorial Day Weekend 5th Annual Air Show.

"Americans weren't inclined to travel far this holiday because of gas prices," said Bethpage President/CEO Kirk Kordeleski. "So we're especially proud to have worked in cooperation with New York State's Regional Office to provide so many an entertaining, patriotic and successful kick off to summer."

Attendees watched the U.S. Navy Blue Angels, the U.S. Army Golden Knights Parachute Team and the New York air show debut of the U.S. Air Force F-22A Raptor. The show also provided the opportunity to celebrate the homecoming of Lindenhurst native and commander of the Blue Angels, Navy Captain Kevin Mannix.
