VACAVILLE, Calif. -- The Sacramento Area Human Resources Association, in partnership with The Sacramento Bee, has named Travis Credit Union the winner of the Sacramento workplace excellence leader award in the not-for-profit category with less than 500 employees.
The SWEL awards recognize outstanding Sacramento-area organizations that are nominated by their employees for unique and exceptional human resources practices.

The awards program provides opportunities for human resources professionals to gain insight into area companies' best practices. It also is a showcase event for executives at all levels and in all industries to gain inspiration for organizational improvement.
More than 100 nominations were received.
