EECU Breaks Ground on Mansfield Branch

FORT WORTH, Texas -- EECU hosted a groundbreaking celebration to introduce the community to the future site of its Mansfield Branch.

The opening of the newest branch is yet another opportunity for growth and will provide many more opportunities to serve EECU Members where they live and work. The Mansfield Branch is located at 1720 Highway 287 North and is scheduled to open its doors in fall 2008.

According to the credit union, this newest full-service branch will better accommodate members who live and work in this rapidly growing community, with features such as a drive-thru ATM and safe deposit boxes.

Many guests from the city attended the groundbreaking ceremony. Notable attendees included: Tom Eastman, Mansfield Area Chamber of Commerce board chairman; Liz Dujka, Mansfield Area Chamber of Commerce executive director; Vernon Newsom, superintendent, Mansfield ISD; Bob Morrison, deputy superintendent, Mansfield ISD; Sarah Jandrucko, assistant superintendent elementary education, Mansfield ISD; and Councilmen Mike Leyman and Darryl Haynes.
