FREEPORT, N.Y. -- Regional leaders were on hand recently for the opening of Bethpage Federal Credit Union's new branch in Freeport.
The facility is the credit union's 16th full-service branch in Long Island.
Bethpage President/CEO Kirk Kordeleski said, "Freeport is a community with a rich tradition on Long Island and Bethpage Federal Credit Union looks forward to being a part of that history moving forward."
Cutting the ribbon to mark the Freeport grand opening were Freeport Chamber of Commerce incoming-President Francisco Jorge, Executive Board Member Peter Vita, Freeport Trustee William H. White, Kordeleski, Freeport Mayor William F. Glacken, Freeport Trustee Jorge A. Martinez, Branch Manager Jessica Carrasquillo, Freeport Chamber of Commerce Secretary Lois Howes and Freeport Trustee Donald K. Miller.
