LENEXA, Kan. -- U.S. Central has announced the election results from last month's annual meeting and spring conference, where six of the corporate's nine board seats were up for grabs.
Bob Siravo, president/CEO of WesCorp, was elected to a three-year term as a Class A-1 director, and David Brehmer, president/CEO of First Carolina Corporate Credit Union, was re-elected to his three-year Class A-2 director post.
Larry Eisenhauer, president/CEO of Kansas Corporate Credit Union, was elected as a Class A-3 director with a two-year term, and Jim Hansen, president/CEO of VACORP Federal Credit Union, was elected to a one-year term as a Class A-4 director.
Bill Cheney, president/CEO of California/Nevada Credit Union Leagues, was elected to a one-year noncorporate director seat, and John Franklin, executive vice president/chief operating officer of CUNA, was re-elected to a noncorporate director seat with a three-year term.
The three board members not up for re-election include Joseph Herbst, newly elected chairman of the board and CEO of Members United Corporate Federal Credit Union; Charles Thomas, now vice chairman of the board and president/CEO of West Virginia Corporate Credit Union; and Greg Moore, CEO of Georgia Central Credit Union.
The new board also elected Brehmer treasurer and Siravo secretary. The board also selected a three-member supervisory committee consisting of John Cassidy, president/CEO of Southwest Corporate, Bill Birdwell, president/CEO of Southeast Corporate and Bob Nealon, president/CEO of Constitution Corporate.
