Passageways Makes a Move Into Canada

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- Passageways is making its way into Canada.

The provider of portal solutions for credit unions and other financial institutions was launched in 2003 as a CUSO of Purdue Employees Federal Credit Union and now has more than 150 installations across the United States and in the Caribbean.

The move up north will be headed by a new senior account executive, Eric Murphy, a veteran of more than 20 years of sales experience with AT&T, Lucent Technologies and a recent software startup.

"We have been asked by many credit unions from Canada about our solution and we have finally made a strong commitment to this vibrant market space," said Paroon Chadha, Passageways co-founder and vice president.

"We waited for the right person to spearhead our business development efforts in Canada and feel confident that Eric will get us the start we need in this market," Chadha said.

The company's intranet portal solutions includes modules for boards, help desks and learn and knowledge management applications and is available as a hosted or in-house solution.
