T.K. Keith Co. Changes Name to Primax

WAKEFIELD, Mass. -- T.K. Keith Company Inc. has changed its name to Primax, the name of the company's back-end merchant card processing system.

The name change included a rebranding of a number of brands the 25-year-old company had been using, and the launch of a new Web site at www.primaxpayments.com.

"Marketing our company became difficult as our customer base grew and we started to see some traction in terms of our position in the marketplace. Officially changing our name to Primax gives us a united front without changing the brand name our customers have come to trust." said Ted Keith, president/CEO of Primax.

Primax provides credit, debit and gift card processing and related services to about 140 credit union and community banks and 5,000 merchant business clients, the company said.
