Fiserv Signs Up Seven New CUs To Core Processing Contracts
BROOKFIELD, Wis. -- Fiserv Inc. said it signed seven new credit union clients to core processing contracts--along with a variety of ATM, debit card, bill pay and online banking solutions--in the first quarter of 2008.
The credit unions and their current core processors, according to Fiserv and the NCUA Web site, are:
-$78 million Sterling FCU of Sterling, Colo., which currently runs on a Harland UltraData platform and is converting to IntegraSys Premier.
-$29 million NWS FCU of Yorktown, Va., which currently runs on a Real-Time Data Management Services platform and chose the Premier system.
-$29 million NSF FCU of Arlington, Va., which currently runs on a CMC Flex platform and is converting to a Fiserv Galaxy core system.
-$26 million Mattel FCU of El Segundo, Calif., which currently runs on a CMC Flex platform and is converting to the CUSA Service Center solution as part of a CUSO with the City of Downey, CalCom and CareConnections federal credit unions, all of which renewed those contracts concurrent with Mattel's signing.
-$12 million Riverfork CU of Grand Forks, N.D., which currently runs on an UltraData platform and chose the CUSA Service Center.
-$27 million Retail Employees CU of Atlanta, which currently is an Open Solutions Inc. client and will be converting to the CUSA Service Center.
-$89 million Jefferson County Teachers' Credit Union of Birmingham, Ala., which is converting from an in-house system from EPL Inc. to an online system from XP Systems.
Meanwhile, two credit unions have transitioned from in-house XP Systems platforms to the IntegraSys Premier service bureau solution. They are $81 million Northwestern Mutual Credit Union of Milwaukee and $23 million Port Arthur Teachers Credit Union of Port Arthur, Texas.
"Through the collaborative approach that is the foundation of our CU7 strategy, Fiserv is helping these clients evolve their technology direction in sync with their evolving business goals, enabling them to make a very smooth transition to a new platform that meets their current needs," said Jeff Givens, senior vice president and national sales manager, Fiserv Credit Union Division.
Fiserv currently provides core processing services to about 2,800 credit unions through those seven divisions, the company said.
