EAU CLAIRE, Wis. -- Royal Credit Union here has received the Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority's recognition as the number one credit union lender in Wisconsin.
"This is truly an honor for RCU. This is the fourth year we have received this recognition, and I think it's a true testament to our employees providing first time home buyers with low-cost home financing," said Linda Marincel, RCU Home Loan Manager.
RCU is WHEDA's top credit union lender and fifth top lender among all 266 financials in the state. RCU made 149 WHEDA loans totaling more than $15.8 million in 2007 and has been one of WHEDA's top 10 lenders for six consecutive years, the CU announced.
