BECU Names Executive Vice President

TUKWILA, Wash. -- BECU has announced Joe Brancucci as its new executive vice president.

Brancucci was promoted from vice president of delivery and product management and chief lending officer at BECU.

"BECU is on the verge of introducing many new and exciting enhancements to our delivery channels and product lines," said BECU President/CEO Gary Oakland. "Joe's experience and leadership will give us the opportunity to enhance the development of our employees as well as all the components of the member experience."

Prior to coming to BECU in 1995, Brancucci held senior management positions at savings banks, a national bank, Freddie Mac, and a small community credit union.

Brancucci is chair of the CUNA Council Forum, a board member of CU Direct, and BALANCE, and serves on the National Housing Alliance Partnership Committee.

Previously, Brancucci was chair of the CUNA Lending Council from 2003-2006 and chair of the Fannie Mae Credit Union Advisory Council from 2003-2007. In 2003, Brancucci received the NASCUO Executive of the Year Award for his work with Prime Alliance Solutions, Inc.
