Andrews FCU Turns 60, Refreshes Brand Image, Web site
SUITLAND, Md. -- Andrews Federal Credit Union is shaking things up at 60.
In celebration of its 60th anniversary Andrews Federal is unveiling its fresh brand image, which features clean, modern lines and a new and improved Website (www.andrewsfcu.org).
Over the last 60 years, the mission of Andrews Federal has been to provide affordable and attractive products and services to help members achieve financial success.
"Our goal has always been to make a difference in the lives of our members and the communities we serve. We have been guided by the credit union philosophy, 'not for profit, not for charity, but for service,' and we still adhere to that philosophy today," said Debbie Matz, acting president/CEO.
As a way to thank its members for their continued patronage, the credit union will hold celebrations throughout the year. In addition, Andrews Federal has modified its annual scholarship to award a grand prize of $6,000 to one deserving student and four additional $1,000 scholarships. The scholarship contest is open to current members who are pursuing undergraduate studies at an accredited college or university.
In addition, there will be a Diamond Anniversary Annual Meeting on March 31 and June has been dubbed Member Appreciation Month.
As an ongoing effort, Andrews Federal will surprise its members each and every Friday with special prizes and gifts during its Give-Back Fridays. Members will be treated to refreshments and prizes including 60th anniversary branded items and gift cards from major retailers.
