Younger Set Dominates on Mobile Channel, But Not Exclusively

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- The mobile channel may be the channel to channel for credit union marketers who want to reach the younger set, according to Forrester Research. That's where adoption of mobile technology is strongest. But don't leave out the older crowd completely. More than 50% of seniors own mobile phones, too, according to the latest North American Technographics Benchmark Survey of 51,500 U.S. households. The survey also found that to attract the older user, content providers should focus on applications that solve problems, such as navigation.
