ARLINGTON, Va. -- NAFCU President/CEO Fred Becker was profiled in the Feb. 1 issue of CEO Update, a Washington-based publication that caters to association and non-profit executives.
In an article entitled "Planning the CEO Career," Becker was one of several CEOs who offered up ideas on how an aspiring CEO can beat out other competitors--including current CEOs--for his or her first chief executive post.
Becker recommended a career that exposes hopefuls to a broad range of skills and experience, telling CEO Update, "I think to be the CEO you have to be a jack-of-all-trades, ambidextrous, and maybe with attention deficit disorder."
