CACU Gains Summit Business Media as Sponsor

CINCINNATI -- Communicating Arts Credit Union has gained Summit Business Media as a sponsor company.

Summit Business Media was formed in November 2006 with the Wind Point Partners' acquisition of Highline Media and Pfingsten Publishing.

The partnership came to be when an employee at National Underwriter, one of Summit Business Media's publications, and CACU member wrote a thank you note to CACU President/CEO Catherine Herring.

"It came about through a connection with a long time member because we gave out a bonus dividend this year to members," Herring said. "And in a thank you note she posed the question if it was possible for the company to affiliate with us."

The dividend totaled more than $140,000 and was paid out to members at the end of 2007.

CACU was created in 1940 for the benefit of those engaged in information media, fine arts, visual arts, and performing arts and currently consists of more than 2,300 locations nationwide.

The credit union will serve the 135 employees located at Summit's Erlanger, Kentucky office as well as all Summit employees through out the country.
