2007 Strong Year for Wescom Resources Group

PASADENA, Calif. -- More clients, an acquisition and increased bill payment services were some of the factors that led to a 26% increase in revenue in 2007 for Wescom Resources Group, a CUSO of $3.7 billion Wescom Credit Union. WRG provides technology solutions to more than 215 credit unions. The CUSO said in 2007, it signed on 17 additional clients and Bill Pay volume rose 28% to more than 4.3 million--two factors contributing to the double-digit growth. WRG also completed its acquisition of Pennsylvania-based eCU Technologies, a relationship that nearly doubled WRG's client base, bringing their year-end total to 215.

The CUSO processed more than 3.25 million ATM deposit envelopes during 2007 resulting in a volume increase of 8 percent and launched its Software Developer's Kit for MemberEdge clients to help them build customized pages within their home banking system

"Our new client relationships, coupled with our ongoing partnership with Symitar and our recent purchase of eCU Technologies, are the catalyst for our continued innovation and product development," said Tim Dolan, president of WRG. "This translates directly into added value for clients and a cutting-edge member experience."
