PEFCU Goes First with Mobile Banking

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- Purdue Employees Federal Credit Union has launched a mobile banking service it says is the first among Indiana CUs.

The service, brand-named PEFCU2Go, also is the first from a financial institution in the West Lafayette area, according to $493 million PEFCU.

Using a secure platform from MShift, PEFCU2Go offers account balances, fund transfers and bill pay to the CU's more than 52,000 members and uses the same multi-factor authentication for both mobile and online access at www.purdueefcu.com.

"At PEFCU, we are committed to making financial transactions as easy and convenient as possible for our members," said CEO Bill Connors. "In order to fulfill that commitment, we constantly evaluate our members' needs. It's the reason we invest in innovative solutions like our new mobile service."
