NCUA Released Revolving Loan Fund Guide

ALEXANDRIA, Va. -- NCUA has released guidelines for credit unions seeking to access funds through the agency's Community Development Revolving Loan Fund's Technical Assistance Grant program.

The agency received $975,000 in the Fiscal Year 2008 appropriation for the grants which were established to help CUs designated as low income to provide more products and services to low income members and communities.

Grant initiatives include building capacity and technology, enhancing member services, staff training, student internship programs, income tax assistance programs as well as an Urgent Needs Grant which eligible CUs can use in case of "extreme necessity," the agency said.
