SEFCU Appoints EVP of Wealth Management Services

ALBANY, N.Y. -- SEFCU has announced the recent promotion of John Lawler from senior vice president to executive vice president of Wealth Management Services.

Since 1993, Lawler has been responsible for the CUSO as president of Asset Management Services at SEFCU. In his new position, Lawler will oversee the newly acquired Colonial Insurance and Kenneth Fake Insurance Agencies.

Lawler earned an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and holds his Series 6 and 63 Securities licenses, his New York State Life, Accident, and Health Insurance license, and New York State Property and Casualty Insurance license.

SEFCU was established in 1934 and is among with 70 largest credit unions in the United States with more than $1.4 billion in assets, 156,000 members, and 28 offices.
