PEFCU Facilities Manager Announces Retirement

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- After 30 years of service, Purdue Employees Federal Credit Union Facilities Manager Dave Melville is retiring.

Melville is PEFCU's first 30-year employee.

"Dave's work ethic and knack for building relationships with colleagues, members and vendors serves as a model for all PEFCU employees," said Bill Connors, chief executive officer. "He will definitely be missed by all who work with him."

Melville joined PEFCU on Jan. 30, 1978, and during his tenure he has made numerous contributions in positions ranging from collector to director of operations, to vice president of lending, to facilities manager, which he has held since the position was created in 1990. His most recent responsibilities include overseeing facilities operations and budgets, and maintaining vendor relationships.

In addition to his professional contributions, Melville gives back to the community. He volunteers for the National Alliance on Mental Illness, helping to organize the annual training for local police agencies. He is also an active member of his local church.

"Dave has been dedicated to PEFCU for 30 years and has made numerous contributions," said Amy Keith, special projects manager and Melville's supervisor. "He is a great guy and will be missed."
