BRISTOL, Conn. -- For the 64th consecutive time, First Bristol Federal Credit Union has achieved a 5-star rating from BauerFinancial, Inc.
BauerFinancial, Inc. is the nation's leading independent credit union rating and research firm located in Coral Gables, Fla. The research firm has been reporting on and analyzing the performance of U.S. banks and credit unions since 1983.
The 5-star rating is the highest rating and First Bristol FCU earned an extra honor as an "Exceptional Performance Credit Union" by achieving that rating for longer than 10 years.
"We are all aware of the problems in the banking industry these days," said Karen L. Dorway, president of BauerFinancial. "Consumers need to know there are still well-run institutions, like First Bristol Federal Credit Union, that continue to shine even when times are tough."
