TUKWILA, Wash. -- BECU has announced that Kathy Elser has been promoted CFO/vice president of finance & administration.
Elser has been in the financial services industry since 1989, and joined the credit union in 1996 as the manager of accounting. She has been controller at the credit union for the past nine years.
Elser is a board member of Prime Alliance Solutions Inc., a majority owned CUSO of BECU. She has served terms on the Executive Committee of the boards of the Seattle Chapter of the Washington State Society of CPA's as well as the Kings County Chapter of Credit Unions.
Prior to her work at BECU, Elser worked in public accounting at Deloitte & Touche, LLP and she holds a B.S. in accounting from Central Washington University.
