AUSTIN, Texas -- Two hours after it launched its new online banking service, United Heritage Credit Union said, more than 1,700 members had logged in and four registered for its Web BillPay service.
The $504 million CU now is running on an outsourced Digital Insight platform that saw more than 10,200 members log in and 44 sign up for the bill pay service in the first week of the recent launch at www.uhcu.org.
Other new features include expanded account history, alerts, messaging, enhanced self service and authentication technology that includes log-on computer recognition.
About 21,500 of UHCU's 52,500 members currently are registered as online users. The CU had been using online banking from its core processor, Symitar, according to the 2007 Credit Union Technology Survey from Callahan & Associates.
