New Name for Pittsburgh Teachers CU

PITTSBURGH, Pa. -- Pittsburgh Teachers Credit Union is joining the growing list of credit unions opting for change in 2008.

The $90 million credit union will celebrate its 75th anniversary with a new name--riverset CU. The new name is designed to pay tribute to the credit union's heritage while reflecting the over 60 companies and organizations it serves. The brand image revamping includes a new natural color scheme created to provide an inviting, organic feel. Along those lines, riverset marketing and advertisement campaigns will also feature "green" tips designed to raise awareness of environmental issues as they relate to fiscal concerns.
