Another CU Ups Its Shared Branching Effort

DUBUQUE, Iowa -- Another Credit Union has stepped forward to offer its members greater access to nationwide services by expanding its commitment to shared branching.

The $462 Dupaco Community Credit Union took the step by expanding the number of its shared branching outlets by four. The CU has been affiliated with the Credit Union Service Network since 2004. CUSN is the organization which provides shared branching services for the Colorado Credit Union Association. Through its affiliation with CUSN, Dupaco has also been affiliated with Credit Union Service Centers, a subsidiary of CO-OP Financial Services.

"Cooperative activities and endeavors, including shared branching, further exemplify the credit union difference and the benefits of belonging to a financial movement that truly cooperates for the mutual benefit of all members," said Robert Hoefer, CEO of Dupaco. "At Dupaco, our vision is to serve as our member's lifetime financial home. Shared branching enhances our ability to fulfill that vision by allowing us to provide extended personal service to our members regardless of where life's journeys may take them."
