HealthCare Associates Using New Laser-Generated Batch Mailer

NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- HealthCare Associates Credit Union is now using a batch laser-generated self-mailer system to produce notices such as delinquency and loan billings.

The $182 million CU is using the EZNotice software, part of the TotaleWorks document management suite from Integrated Media Management (www.immonline.com) of Linden, N.J.

EZNotice merges data and form templates and uses a folder/sealer machine to create up to 11,000 laser self-mailers per hour. The credit union says it saves about eight hours of labor a week with the system, and also benefits from the system's indexing and archiving functionality.

"We were using six different kinds of paper stock to create multi-page mailers that included a reply envelope and an outer envelope," says Brian Bultman, vice president and chief information officer at HealthCare Associates CU. "Those multiple pages are now one page, and we use one type of paper stock."
