FIS Chooses mFoundry For Mobile Offering

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Fidelity National Information Services (www.fidelityinfoservices.com) has chosen mFoundry as the provider of mobile banking and payment solutions to its credit union and bank clients.

mFoundry's Spotlight Financial Platform offers mobile functionality that includes the ability to create a branded presence for the client. It also can accommodate any transaction type, as well as coupons and other loyalty services, and can handle a wide array of handsets and mobile operators, the company says.

The hosted platform will be integrated with FIS solutions for more than 9,000 large and small banks and credit unions.

"FIS has great reach into thousands of financial institutions and has processing and technology relationships with more than 30 of the top 50 global banks and at least 50 percent of community financial institutions in the U.S.," says Drew Sievers, CEO and cofounder of mFoundry (www.mfoundry.com) in Sausalito, Calif.

Anthony Jabbour, executive vice president of FIS' Integrated Financial Solutions, says, "We are looking forward to bringing the best-of-breed mobile services to our customers."
