CUISPA Launches IT Security Podcast Program

AUSTIN, Texas -- Security certifications for IT staff was the topic for the inaugural version of the new podcasts from the Credit Union Information Security Professional Association (CUISPA).

The podcasts are a joint effort of Alex Rams of Baxter CU in Illinois and John Brozycki of Hudson Valley FCU in New York, who met last summer at the CUISPA Summit in Boston, the organization says.

Kelly Dowell, CUISPA's executive director, says other members have offered to do podcasts on topics such as security awareness and how to choose a risk-assessment provider.

"It's great to see the cooperative spirit create beneficial programs like this," Dowell says.

The CUISPA podcasts are available to all credit unions for free at www.cuispa.org.
