Oregon CU Association Launches Oversight Resource

BEAVERTON Ore. - The Credit Union Association of Oregon has announced that it will launch the Oregon Compliance InfoSight, a comprehensive online compliance information system, in January 2008.

The free, Web-based resource gives CUAO-affiliated state and federally chartered credit unions immediate and easy access to the most important compliance topics and the ability to access regulatory and compliance information specific to Oregon and general for all credit unions, the association said when it announced the launch.

"InfoSight will be a very useful tool for credit unions of all sizes, but particularly smaller credit unions who may not have a compliance officer on staff," said Janet Josselyn, director of Compliance Services.

When CUAO's InfoSight goes live in January on the association's Website, affiliated credit unions will find compliance information on a wide variety of topics such as board responsibilities, advertising regulations, tax issues, bankruptcy and collections, and more. Along with an easy-to-use interface, InfoSight features advanced search capabilities.
