SALT LAKE CITY -- CUSA Technologies has released a new version of its LoanDesk loan origination software, an upgrade crafted in collaboration with CUNA Mutual Group.
LoanDesk 4.2 provides customized talking points for answering member questions, calculations compliant with state and federal regulations for CUNA Mutual policyholders and a comparison of all insurance options, according to CUSA Technologies, a business unit of Fiserv that provides core processing and other services to more than 800 credit unions.
The upgrade presents loan-related protection products such as credit life/disability and debt cancellation, and uses Fiserv Lending Solutions, a workflow that incorporates credit decisioning, debt analysis and debt consolidation.
"This facilitates efficient decisions and quick underwriting," says Jim Fillman, vice president of research and development for CUSA Technologies. "LoanDesk 4.2 also draws upon the remarkable flexibility of the CUNA Mutual calculation engine, to prompt loan officers through the steps that are necessary to deliver maximum protection to the member and credit union."
