Power Financial CU Launches Honor Deposit Service

PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. -- Power Financial Credit Union is now offering its 55,000 members the ability to "deposit" checks online and then put them in the mail.

Qualifying members with $587 million Power Financial CU can now log on at www.powerfi.org, record the deposit and receive immediate credit of up to $2,000. They then have five days to get the mailed check to the credit union, but have immediate access to the cash online and through ATMs and debit cards and checks.

The 55,500-member CU is now one of 30 credit unions using the honor posting solution from eCU Technologies, the tech CUSO of $2.4 billion Pennsylvania State Employees Credit Union.

"We believe eDeposit represents an important extension of our convenient SecureLink online banking suite of products and addresses one of the largest stumbling blocks of online banking, the deposit," says Allan Prindle, the credit union's president and CEO.
