WASHINGTON -- Others are taking notice of the Credit Union Cherry Blossom 10-Mile Run.
Recently NBC Sports featured video from the event as part of its coverage of the best running and road racing at www.nbcsports.com/running/index.
Some 11,000 people including 500 congressmen and Capitol Hill staffers participated in the event, which this year raised approximately $828,000 for Children's Miracle Network.
The funds go to provide charitable care to patients of the 17 affiliated children's hospitals throughout North America.
