GLENDALE, Ariz. -- Arizona State Credit Union came under the scrutiny of the highly regarded "Ranking Arizona" business opinion poll hosted annually by Arizona Business Magazine--and the credit union came out standing firmly on top.
As part of the 2007 edition of "Ranking Arizona: The Best of Arizona Business", Arizona State CU was named the number one credit union in Arizona.
The credit union was recognized for its outstanding service and value to its patrons, including recently added financial services for local business such as loans for construction, commercial real estate and equipment purchases along with lines of credit and dividend-earning deposit accounts aimed at serving Arizona businesses.
The rankings, which cover more than 250 business and leisure categories, are published annually Arizona Business Magazine, and magazine staff chooses the categories based on feedback by the state's business community regarding their interests and leisure activities.
Voters participate through mail-in ballots provided through the magazine and the "Ranking Arizona" Web site. The results of the poll are based entirely on popularity and opinion not annual revenue or company size.
This honor for Arizona State Credit Union came on the heels of more accolades--a recent independent study showed a 97% satisfaction rating among members and the credit union has also been recognized with a Peter Baron Stark Workplace Excellence Award two years running (2006 and 2007).
