ATLANTA -- Design/build firm IBT Enterprises has hired Kathy Harkey to serve as senior vice president of sales for national accounts and the southeast region.
Harkey, a previous IBT employee, has more than 20 years of financial industry experience. She rejoins the company after spending the previous six years with Travelex Currency Services serving as vice president of sales development and vice president of business development. In her new role at IBT, Harkey will oversee southeastern sales activity as well as numerous strategic national accounts for the company.
"Kathy's background is rich with financial services experience and she has been instrumental in propelling growth throughout her career," said IBT CEO Mylle Mangum. "Kathy will serve as a strategic addition to IBT and will help us continue to expand our client base and improve our client services."
Harkey served as vice president of sales development for IBT from December 1994 until January 2000. During that time she developed and managed retail and financial partnerships, and expanded IBT business throughout the southeast. She has also held executive positions with Open Solutions, Inc., US Banking Alliance and First Financial Management Corporation.
