PAFCU Teaches Kids Proper Way to Bury Treasure

HAUPPAUGE, N.Y. -- The staff and members of People's Alliance Federal Credit Union celebrated National Credit Union Youth Week from April 22-28 at all of its locations.

This year's National Credit Union Youth Week themE was "Stash Your Cash @ the Credit Union." PAFCU celebrated by holding lobby days in each of their locations. They even had their very own Pirate's Cove and genuine Pirate to talk the kids into burying their treasure and opening a Kids Savings Account.

PAFCU encourages financial education amongst even its smallest members. All children who open a Kids Savings Account receive a monthly statement along with Kidstuff newsletter. Kidstuff is a fun and informative newsletter that teaches children about math and money, about being independent, and about being goal-oriented.
