WESTBROOK, Maine -- Following the Maine Credit Union League's 69th Annual Delegates' Meeting, the league's board elected its officers for 2007-2008.
Phil Moreau, president/CEO of Rainbow Federal Credit Union, was elected chairman of the board.
The other officers elected were Richard Dupuis, president/CEO of Five County CU, vice chair; Gail Richardson, president/CEO of Midcoast FCU, secretary; and Richard Lachance, president/CEO of Maine Education CU, treasurer.
Two new board members also joined the league's board at the convention. Tucker Cole, president/CEO of Evergreen Credit Union, was elected to represent the Alex Ferguson Chapter and Kyle Casburn, president/CEO of Seaboard Federal Credit Union, was chosen by the Bangor Chapter as its director.
Richardson and Luke Labbe, president/CEO of Peoples Choice Credit Union, were also re-elected by their chapters and began new three-year terms at the conclusion of the meeting.
The league's board will appoint a replacement to fill the seat held by A. Bosica, who stepped down as a result of the merger of Knox County Federal Credit Union with Five County Credit Union. An individual will likely be appointed prior to the end of June.
