Citadel FCU Lands PR Pro to Manage Media Relations

THORNDALE, Pa. -- Credit unions are known for their marketing prowess, but public relations has always been a weakness.

Citadel Federal Credit Union is looking to buck that trend. The $1 billion credit union has hired seasoned public relations professional Kristianna Del Grande to manage the CU's public face.

Del Grande will lead Citadel's media relations' management; act as Citadel's spokesperson; manage the Citadel public relations strategy, planning, budgeting and execution; and ensure communication of strategic messages and a positive corporate image.

"I'm very excited to be taking on this new challenge," said Del Grande, who previously served as deputy press secretary to Governor Edward G. Rendell and press secretary to First Lady Judge Marjorie O. Rendell. "I'm proud to join an organization that is not only focused on superior customer service, but is also committed to supporting local organizations and community service."

Del Grande is a graduate of Saint Joseph's University.
