INDEPENDENCE, Mo. -- The membership of 1st Credit Union approved a merger with United Consumers Credit Union.
The Examiner of Eastern Jackson County, Mo. reported that United Consumers Credit Union has over 17,000 members and $100 million in assets. It has five locations in the Kansas City area and two in St. Joseph. It is also a part of the Service Centers Network's 2,500 branches across the country.
